Systemic Reform
How can systemic reform approaches be leveraged and scaled up so that ALL students? We know that when a school is outfitted with the five key elements necessary to transform teaching and learning practices test scores improve, discipline referrals decrease and teachers and students become empowered to go beyond the standardized testing content.
Eliminate junior and senior high grades. Replace with job shadowing , career planning and internships.
Implement individual learning plans for each student that measures growth and incorporates a National STEM Exit Exam.
Eliminate elementary grade levels and group students by ability, not age or grade.
