Individual Learning for Every Child: Data Usage for Personalized Instruction
Statewide data systems offer an opportunity for states to collect data from districts for accountability purposes. But, how do we leverage this investment to use the data to improve instruction at the teacher and classroom levels? This group will delve into teacher training in the use of data, policies about access to student data, as well as implementation challenges of bridging data and curriculum.

By 2011, every school district will have a professional development and support system in place to support teachers in generating, interpreting, and using data reports to align teaching with the learning needs of each student.
By 2012, incorporate state test results with local formative assessment results to drive the prescription for the students’ path forward.

by 2011, every student will have easy access to a student learning plan that is linked to performance based and other assessments developed, implemented and supported by the student, teacher, parents/guardian and appropriate stakeholders in that student's K-Adult education.
